Last shots of the Lunar New Year's Parade!

In typical California fashion, there was a very pretty reporter doing an impromptu coverage of the Lunar New Years Parade!

Here's the action packed interview!

Nice smiles!

Oh my God!!!

At the end of the parade, the dragons wanted to treat us to a nice fireworks parade!

They light the match!

This doesn't look good!

Run!!!! And duck for cover!!!! It's out of control!!!!

I'm out of here!

Lunar New Year's Parade continued!

Here's my second part of the Lunar New Years Parade! One of the bonuses of the parade was that we had excellent weather!

And here goes Alex and Gary!

Followed by Gordo!

Here are some pageant winners!

Beautiful smile from Miss Taiwan!

Another Miss Taiwan!

Hello!

Cute picture of the mouse and the look of security's face is priceless. He's in nostalgia!

Chinese New Year's Parade

For the past two years, I have been anticipating going to the annual Lunar New Year's parade in Chinatown, Los Angeles, California. I set up shop with my tripod and camera to get some nice pics. Enjoy!

Here's a nice picture of a dragon with a huge mouth!

Next up: The Grand Marshal. Being the Year of the Rat, who can represents rodents the best, None other than Mickey Mouse!

Here's Mickey riding down the parade route in style.

Here's some coppers. I feel a bit bad for the horses. I think the coppers need to go on diets. Haha!

Here's Sheriff Lee Baca!

And here's the Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

An extreme close up!
