A great Gil Youngism!
Today I was walking to school and I ran into Gil Young and she said that funniest Gil Youngism!
Gordo: Wow! The weather is really strange today.
Gil Young: It's not strange. It's unusual!
Gordo: I'm outta here!

Las Vegas 3
Two of my favorite casinos have to be: The Flamingo and The Venetian. The Flamingo is one of the original casinos of the strip, and Bugsy used to run it. The Venetian brings the romance of Venice to Las Vegas.
Here is the main reason I like the Flamingo. You can actually look at and take pictures of Pink flamingos for free. It's a great chance to get up close to these strange birds.
Speaking of strange birds, this one is a classic!
Finally, from strange birds to annoying ones. This chubby fellow would stop making a racket and kept getting into my pictures.

In the Venetian Casino we saw a living statute. They are quite annoying according to the citizens in the Hot Fuzz movie.
This is one of my favorite shots inside the Venetian. The inside is actually made to look like the outside square of Venice. It's quite impressive.
Las Vegas Part 2
Alright, now I'm thinking that 2 parts isn't enough. Anyway, here are some more picutures. Enjoy!
Since it was Lunar New Year time, the Bellagio Conservatory was decorated to celebrate that time. I hope everyone has a happy new year!
Here's a picture I got from the Luxor casino. They look like they are right out of the movie, The Mummy!
This is a cute Trojan horse in Caesar's Palace. It's actually the front of a FAO Schwartz toy store.
Las Vegas
One of my favorite cities in the world has to be Las Vegas. It's where people will treat you friendly and you can feel like a King. But you have to be careful, not to overspend, over drink, or get yourself into some other trouble. I took too many photos but I'm going to narrow them into 2 parts.
I don't particularly like the New York New York casino, but, I do like the decorations on the outside of the casino. Here is old lady liberty.
Here's the Manhattan bridge.
I love the ad for Pepsi Cola. Many people don't even know about this drinks existence.
The lovely Eiffel tower in Las Vegas. Many people think this is a shot of the real deal.
Here's a picture of the Monte Carlo Casino. I love the way the fountain looks life-like.Now for some night shots. Here is one of my favorite casinos, the Venitian!
Here's the casino where I stayed out. They had a special for $40 a night. I couldn't decline that.
This waterfall is in the outside of the Wynn Casino. I love this place. I won about $100 and 2 free dinner buffets!

Union station and Olvera Street
Before going to the Lunar New Years parade, we decieded to stop by Olvera Street because it's on the way. It's a truly historic street founded in 1911, when California was still part of Mexico.
We decided to stop and get some food. Here's Alex and Gary. Gary is eat bistec con camarones and Anna is eating tacos!
