Graduation!

My Korean class in church has finished so we had a graduation! It was small but a lot of fun. Here are some of the pictures.
My friend William nervously awaits to make his speech.

Some of the Korean teachers and a baby. I always forget their names! That's pretty bad!

The judges for the speech contest, a Korean teacher, a nun, and a priest. What a panel!

Here's me with the Priest receiving my certificate!

Here's my class!

And here's all of the classes! Wow!

Here's another picture after the ceremony.

Korea Versus Switzerland

For South Korea's last game, I went with some friends down to the Olympic park in Jungang. The funny part of the story was that Thomas and Steven were supposed to watch the game with us but they showed up late and they wouldn't let them in. So, they had to watch the game outside, while, I stayed inside and watched the games with three girls. Haha!
Here are some of the pics.

Here's Veronica (3rd from right), from church, and me. Her two friend's name escape me.

Here's a picture without me. How terrible! Haha!

This place was packed and so was my hair! Haha!

These cheerleaders never stopped!

Being Korea of course, there were drummers.

Uh oh! Veronica has got a hold of my camera!

Some post game pictures. South Korea lost to Switzerland and was eliminated from the tournament. But that didn't stop us from taking some pictures after the game.

Open Market!

Today we had an open market at Little America. All of the students that did well and got A+ on their tests received Little America dollars. They then call use their LA dollars to buy stuff. Here's some of the pictures.
Here's the mandatory group shot.

This student has been waiting all night so he could be the first one at the market.

Here's a group shot of the munchinkins.

Here's the Jinster. Ready to start trouble.

Here's Thomas trying to control the chaos from his side of the store.

And here's me trying my best to sucker kids into buying raincoats in the middle of summer. Haha!

Here's Steve posing for the camera. Matthew is in the back (left, headphones) taking this market way to seriously.

Some of the villains of the market, Jason and Trevor. They bought water guns and started shooting at us.

Soccer Bonanza!

We all went to see the opening game for South Korea against Togo. What a night! It was pretty awesome being able to cheer and be in such a great environment. Here are some of the pics.
Before the game jitters. Everyone is on edge.

My flash is bugging. Here's Thomas and me a bit worried because Togo is up 1-0!

Goal!!!!!!! Korea scored!!!!!!! Now it's 1-1! Everyone exploded!

Kang's having a great time. Anna and Miss Kim are acting bashful in front of the camera.

More celebration going on!!!
Goal number 2 for Korea!!!!

All these girls wanted pictures with Thomas, Steven and me. I need to get some copies from Steven.

Go Korea!!!!!!
