Hiking up Surisan!

We had Monday off because Lunar New Years is a 3 day Holiday. So, Monday Thomas and me decieded to go up on a hike to visit 2 temples in Surisan.

This is one of the many shots I took of the route.

Here's a shot of me and the mountain in the background.

This pic is showing how steep the mountain is. Plus, there's Thomas all the way to the left.

Here's the first temple we visited.

Many people put little Buddha stautues for good fortune.

Here is a second shot of the temple.

Hiking up Surisan! Part II

This is the Temple's garden.

Here's the Buddha stutue looking very tranqil and friendly.

Here's a pic of the first temple that we reached. I really like the dragons on the wall. They both also have dragon balls in their mouths.
Here's a shot of the second temple we visited.

Here must be the burial site of the monk who began this temple.
I always like taking pictures of padogas.
Here's rocks piled up but water is seeping through.

Here's the last leg of our journey. It reaches an area where you can walk over rocks and they are supposed to have some curative qualities. My feet did feel quite nice.

Church Lunar New Years Party Day II

Here's Eddie, Chris, and me! If it wasn't for these two going to chuch wouldn't be so much fun!

Here's one of the funniest renditions of, "Feelings" I have ever heard from a drunk Padre!

The Padres are at the mic again! Now, they're both singing, "Besame mucho!" It was absolutely hilarious!

Here's a picture of the Padre borracho! Dios Mio!

Here's Chris singing Eye of Tiger!

Since it was a Filippino Karoke DVD, I knew they would have Spanish songs. Lucky for me, they had Guantaramera! So I sang it and it was a big hit!

All the Filippinos got up and started to dance to Guataramera. This was the first song they actually got up to dance to!

Since Guataramera was such a hit, the Eddie's had to sing, "Hey!" by Julio Iglessias!

This is Eddie taking a picture with a little girl that had the traditional Korean clothing on for the Lunar New Years Holiday.

The Korean Nun is up and singing a Korean song!

On no! The guitarista has found the mic!

This picture takes me back. Filippinos taking control the grill or the ones and twos.

Here's some of the spread.

Here's the pizzas for that extra touch.

Lunar New Year 2 1/2

Here's my bounty fried chicken, rice, and some Filippino food.

Here's Eddie and Chris striking a pose for the camera!

Here's the Priest offering some more alcohol!!!

Here's 2 Filippinos that their name escapes me.

Here's Ilo on the mic saying Happy New Year in Tagalog.

Here's the 2 padres MCing the event!

The guitarista is open on stage. He said that he was from Malaysia. He was of course joking!

Here's an African who's saying Happy New Year in French.

Here's Team Screaming Eagles! Chris and me!

Here are our opponents The Holy Rolers! The one but I think that it would've been a sin to beat them plus I wanted to keep my Mama happy.

Lunar New Years After Party!

Here's me and Kim Un Young. The same name as the Spanish girl. Good for me! She was really shy about taking a picture but I got her to do it anyway. She was very cute and she told me to call her afterward.

Here's a Kiwi we met at the bar. She's arm wrestling Steven. This girl was very crazy. She said that this was her first time in Seoul, yet everyone knew her. I didn't trust her much. Yet, I told her that I have been London 3 times and that I was fluent in Korean. Haha!
Here's Thomas arm wrestling Megan.

It's the Kiwi Harry Potter! Notice how unamused I am with that guy!
The Three Amigos ride again!
Here's Megan taking a picture with me and Steven. This girl was crazy!

Lights out for this fella! I did actually feel pretty bad for this guy. He was talking to me for about 10 minutes then he said, "You have to excuse me, I'm going to pass out now." I told him go right ahead. But I think it's terrible working all week and passing out in a bar on the weekend.
