Ansan Light Festival

Today started off rainy, which scared me because I was going to the light festival with Anna.

But it cleared up so we were able to go. Here's a shot of the London Bridge.

Here's a Thai Palace.

This is one of the cooler shots.

Here's a Jesus exhibit.

Here's a shot of Anna and me. It's pretty cold.

There was a circus to, which was really cool.

Tae Kwon Do

Hi everyone. Last Saturday, I went with Thomas to his Tae Kwon Do class. It was pretty fun.

Here's a cool action shot of him breaking a board.

Afterwards, we all went out to eat. I don't remember all their

names I just know that they were Kiwis and Canadians.

There's me, Master Shin, Thomas, and Dorta. She Polish but can speak Spanish and English. All of the other guys get jealous at me when we're speaking in Spainish. Haha.

Funny anecdote!

Ever since I got to Korea this lady would keep calling. So, I would go through the same routine. She would say, "Anyeongsahayo" (Hello) and I would reapeat. I kept saying, "Mulayo," which means I don't understand. She keeps talking for about 15 minutes in Korean and I would just stand there and listen. Well the other day, I kept my English-Korean dictionary near by and when she called I told her that I don't speak Korean. And guess what??? It turns out that she speaks English!!! Ergh!!! She spoke English all along. So, I told her that she had the wrong number!

Otober 9th

Today, I decided that I wanted to find a church in Suwon all by myself. I would take a bus, then a train, and then switch trainlines. Well, the first thing I couldn't do was take the bus because it took so long. I had to take a cab.
After I took the subway and made it all the way to Suwon, I had to find this street to get to the cathedral. But of course, I got lost.

No worries, as my Kiwi friend would say. As always, San Antonio has my back and sent this cute girl to help me out. She saw my innocent face and couldn't resist helping me find the cathdral.

We found the church and then she vanished. Haha. She actualy had to get going so we parted our ways.

Last but not least, this one is for you mom. The Nun is from Zimbabwe and the Priest is Korean.

My day in Seol.

Today. October 2nd. I visited the Cathedral in Seoul with my friend Thomas.
Since Alex requested more pictures of the Gordo, Here's me at the BK.
(Check out the expression on the kids face. Pretty nosy, I'd say.
There was a big festival for a river that was built. Nice but pretty crowded.
The kids seem to like it though.
Here is a palace I visited today also. I don't remember the name though but
we had an English tour.
There's Thomas and me in the palace. It was huge!

And of course, Gordo the monkey.
